-          The winning bidder will receive Matt Niskanen’s completely refurbished 2001 Pontiac Sunfire, which has approximately 92,000 miles.

-          Enhancements to the vehicle include:  

o        Kenwood head unit stereo system with front and rear Kenwood speakers, including two 12 inch Kenwood sub-woofers and a JL Audio 6-channel amplifier.

o        One Kenwood 719 in-dash DVD screen with iPod controls.

o        Custom suede upholstery and headliner, as well as 17-inch custom wheels, custom exhaust, paint and detail.

-          The winning bidder will be presented with the car by Matt Niskanen in person in Dallas with a photo and autograph opportunity (date TBD).

-          The winning bidder will be presented with an autographed Matt Niskanen Dallas Stars jersey. The official NHL jersey will be a crested black jersey with Niskanen’s name and number on the back in size XL (date TBD).

-          The winner will be presented with the opportunity for four (4) to attend a 2008-2009 Dallas Stars home game, platinum parking, dinner for four in the Platinum Club and in-game recognition as the winning bidder.

Important Information

-          This auction is open to serious bidders only. Bidders are entering into a legally binding contact. The winning bidder will be held accountable and liable for payment in full within 72 hours of the close of the auction. Accepted forms of payment are cash, wire transfer, money order, cashier’s check and all major credit cards. No personal checks will be accepted.

-          Vehicle pick up will be in Dallas on a mutually agreed upon date between the winning bidder and the Dallas Stars Hockey Club.

-          Winning bidder assumes all costs associated with travel arrangements, lodging accommodations, transfers and meals in accordance with vehicle pick up in Dallas.

-          Winning bidder assumes all responsibilities for taxes, tariffs and duties associated with the purchase of said vehicle in compliance with all state and federal laws tax laws where applicable.

-          Winning bidder assumes all responsibility for pick up and transportation of the vehicle, including but not limited to, fees, taxes, insurance and any related shipping costs. Once the vehicle leaves possession of seller; the seller is released from all liabilities and warranties pertaining to the vehicle.

-          The winning bidder will assume all costs associated with the transfer of vehicle tax, title and license.

-          Seller will provide current vehicle inspection documents by a licensed professional, as well as any related vehicle history where applicable.

-          Vehicle is sold “as is” and without any representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, by the following entities and including any employees, constituents, or subsidiaries of the Dallas Stars Hockey Club, the Dallas Stars Foundation, and the Matt McKee Family Trust, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or conformity to any description of such property and/or services other then what is expressly stated in the auction.

-          The winning bidder hereby releases and waives all claims and causes of action that he or she now has or may have in the future, whether now known or discovered in the future, against the Dallas Stars Foundation, the Dallas Stars Hockey Club and/or the Matt McKee Family Trust for recovery of any actual, consequential, exemplary, or statutory damages arising from any purchase made by the winning bidder at said auction.

-          The McKee Family Trust is not a 501 (c) (3) organization, and therefore all monies received by the trust are not tax-deductible contributions under the Internal Revenue Code.

-          The terms of sale and items included in the auction package are non-negotiable and non-transferrable.
