The National Hockey League-MeiGray Group Game-Worn Jersey Authentication Program is proud to offer fans and collectors across the globe the opportunity to own a piece of history … the actual jersey worn by #15, Ryan Getzlaf of the Anaheim Ducks during the second period of 2009 NHL All-Star Game on January 25, 2009 in front of a boisterous crowd of 21,273 at Bell Centre in Montreal.  The Eastern Conference defeated the Western Conference by a score of 12-11 in a shootout. 

Everyone knows someone who has been touched by cancer.  Our hockey family is no exception.  Hockey Fights Cancer is a joint initiative founded in December 1998 by the National Hockey League Players' Association and the National Hockey League to raise money and awareness for hockey’s most important fight.  Hockey Fights Cancer  is supported by NHL Member Clubs, NHL Alumni, the NHL Officials' Association, Professional Hockey Trainers and Equipment Managers, corporate marketing partners, broadcast partners and fans throughout North America.  To date, Hockey Fights Cancer has raised more than $10.5 million.

This white Western Conference All-Star jersey, a size 58 registered into the MeiGray Game-Worn Jersey Authentication Program as number F02880, was worn by Ryan Getzlaf of the Anaheim Ducks during the second period of the 2009 NHL All-Star Game on January 25, 2009 at the Bell Centre in Montreal.  It was then autographed by Getzlaf. 

One set of 20 jerseys worn by the 2009 Eastern Conference All-Stars (Andrei Markov’s jersey was donated to the Hockey Hall of Fame), one set of 20 jerseys worn by the Western Conference All-Stars (Scott Niedermayer’s jersey was donated to the Hockey Hall of Fame), 18 goal-scored pucks and 8 game-used pucks from the East’s 12-11 shootout victory over the West are now up for bid.

The MeiGray Group Game-Worn Jersey Authentication Program individually numbers, security-tags and markets the game-worn jerseys at meigray.com for 15 NHL clubs: Atlanta, Boston, Calgary, Colorado, Dallas, Edmonton, Nashville, New Jersey, NY Islanders, NY Rangers, Ottawa, Philadelphia, Toronto, Vancouver and Washington.
