The MeiGray Group Game-Worn Jersey Authentication Program is proud to offer fans and collectors across the globe the opportunity to own a piece of history … a puck used to score a goal in the 2009 NHL All-Star Game on January 25, 2009 in front of a boisterous 21,273 at Bell Centre in Montreal.
Everyone knows someone who has been touched by cancer. Our hockey family is no exception. Hockey Fights Cancer is a joint initiative founded in December 1998 by the National Hockey League Players' Association and the National Hockey League to raise money and awareness for hockey’s most important fight. Hockey Fights Cancer is supported by NHL Member Clubs, NHL Alumni, the NHL Officials' Association, Professional Hockey Trainers and Equipment Managers, corporate marketing partners, broadcast partners and fans throughout North America. To date, Hockey Fights Cancer has raised more than $10.5 million.
This is the actual 2009 NHL All-Star Game Goal Puck, registered as No. 135815, that was scored by Western Conference All-Star Shane Doan of the Phoenix Coyotes during the third period of the Eastern Conference All-Stars’ 12-11 shootout victory over the Western Conference All-Stars.
Shane Doan of Phoenix Coyotes gave the West a 9-8 lead just 32 seconds into the third period with a wrist shot past Boston Bruins goalie Tim Thomas. Dallas’ Mike Modano and Los Angeles’ Dustin Brown received assists.
Every puck used in the 2009 All-Star Game was uniquely printed with the Official All-Star Game Logo. Each puck will come with a protective case to display your puck.
