Item Description:

The future is now for Sidney Crosby. Touted as the next big thing in the NHL, Crosby went as the first pick in the 2005 entry draft and is fast making his presence felt as center and alternate captain for the Pittsburgh Penguins. No less than Wayne Gretzky has described Crosby as the best player he has seen since Mario Lemieux. Crosby scored his first NHL goal on Oct. 7, 2005, during a sold-out home game against the Boston Bruins, as he snagged his own rebound and fired it past goalie Hannu Toivonen. Sidney Crosby has hand signed this 2008 All Star replica jersey, which comes complete with a Certificate of Authenticity from Frameworth.
