Wayne Gretzky's nickname is, not surprisingly, "The Great One". He was a 10-time NHL scoring champion, a nine-time regular season MVP (1979-87,89) and nine-time All-NHL first team. He scored 200 points or more in a season four times and led Edmonton to four Stanley Cups (1984-85,87-88). He broke Gordie Howe's all-time NHL goal scoring record of 801 on Mar. 23, 1994, and is the all-time NHL leader in points (2857), goals (894) and assists (1963).
