It's official: The Pittsburgh Penguins have are the 2009 Stanley Cup Champions! In a nail biting and extremely memorable post season, the Pens managed to take away to most prized honours in the NHL.
Evgeni Malkin, who was named MVP of the playoffs, lifted the cup for the first time in his life. In only his third year in the NHL, Malkin wowed the crowd and silenced his critics in order to help bring his team to the top.
This is an Evgeni Malkin Pittsburgh Penguins jersey that has been hand signed by Evgeni Malkin himself. It is a home (black) jersey. The jersey is new, has never been worn, and still has its tags on. This jeryey also has the 2009 Stanley Cup Finals patch on it.
It is a semi-pro jersey, meaning it is essentially the same as the jerseys worn on the ice but it does not have a fight strap.
Both the signature as well as the jersey itself are in perfect condition, and the item comes sealed in its original packaging.
A certificate of authenticity issued by Frameworth Sports Marketing, the only company with official rights to all signed Evgeni Malkin items, is included with this piece.
