Welcome to the Orlando Solar Bears “Opening Night” Auction!

The Solar Bears are out of hibernation and one of the hockey world's greatest jerseys are back!

In fact, unique patches were added and swapped during the Solar Bears’ Opening Games to commemorate the franchise’s return after 11 seasons off the ice.

On October 12 and 13, 2012, the Solar Bears wore this set of jerseys, without a patch, in their road games vs. the Florida Everblades at Germain Arena in Estero, Fla. The Everblades defeated the Solar Bears in the two games, 4-2 and 5-3.

On October 20, 2012, a special “Opening Night” patch was added for the Solar Bears’ 4-3 victory over the Everblades at Amway Center in Orlando, Fla. 

On October 25, 2012, a “Out of Hibernation” patch replaced the “Opening Night” patch for home games vs. the South Carolina Stingrays, a 5-3 victory, and again on October 28, 2012 vs. the Greenville Road Warriors, a 6-5 loss.

The original one-game “Opening Night” patches were then re-attached to the jerseys on which they were worn.

Ginand also wore this jersey throughout games on October 12,2012, October 13,2012, October 25,2012, and October 28, 2012.

This white jersey is a Size 56 and is registered into the MeiGray Game-Worn Jersey Authentication Program.
