Item Description:

This AUTOGRAPHED # 8 Bob Boughner puck comes with a certificate of authenticity. Boughner is a retired professional ice hockey defenseman who played 630 career NHL games. Drafted 32nd overall to the Detroit Red Wings in the 1989 NHL Draft, he was nicknamed “The Boogieman” and considered one of the NHL “tough guys” with 1,382 career penalty minutes. In addition to playing 43 games with the Hurricanes in the 2003-2004 season, Boughner also played for the Buffalo Sabres, Nashville Predators, Pittsburgh Penguins, Colorado Avalanche and Calgary Flames. Boughner is currently the head coach for the OHL Windsor Spitfires where he has won two Memorial Cup Championships as well as the Brian Kilrea Coach of the Year Award in 2008 and 2010. All proceeds of this auction will benefit the Kids ‘N Community Foundation.
