Welcome to USA Hockey-MeiGray Group’s 2013 International Ice Hockey Federation World Junior Championship Team USA Jersey Auction. It’s a Gold Medal-Winning Auction celebrating the 2013 Gold Medal Winners.

The 2013 IIHF World Junior Championship was held in Ufa, Russia from December 26, 2012 through January 5, 2013. Wearing navy, the set retained by the team, the United States National Junior team won its third gold medal and first since 2010 when it defeated defending champion Sweden, 3-1.

The USA Hockey-MeiGray Group Game-Worn Authentication Program is proud to offer fans and collectors across the globe the opportunity to own a piece of history … the one set of white jerseys worn during the tournament.

This auction is for the actual white jersey worn by #12, Mario Lucia. 

Lucia played in all four games wearing this white jersey. Lucia is currently playing for the University of Notre Dame. He was drafted by the Minnesota Wild in the 2nd round of the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.

This jersey, a Size 56, has been registered in the USA Hockey-MeiGray Game-Worn Authentication Program as number USA02205. 

There was one set of 23 white jerseys manufactured by Nike and prepared for use by the U.S. National Men’s Team in the 2013 IIHF World Junior Championship. Each jersey was barcoded before the tournament. The set of jerseys was collected after each game by Team USA’s equipment staff. Each jersey offered in auction has been security-tagged with an individually serial-numbered USA Hockey-MeiGray Authentication Program inventory tag.

The U.S. World Junior Championship Men’s Team wore this set of white jerseys in four games:

·          December 27, 2012, 8-0 win vs. Germany

·          December 28, 2012, 1-2 loss vs. Canada

·          December 30, 2012, 1-2 loss vs. Russia

·          January 2, 2013, 7-0 win Quarterfinal Round vs. Czech Republic

Proceeds will benefit the USA Hockey Foundation.
