Welcome to the 2012 Stanley Cup Champion Los Angeles Kings-MeiGray Group Game-Worn Jersey Authentication Program’s Stanley Cup Final Practice-Worn Jersey Auction!

When the Kings and MeiGray Group signed their new Game-Worn Jersey partnership, MeiGray became the first game-worn jersey company ever to sponsor an NHL team’s practice jerseys.

Throughout the Kings’ 2012 Stanley Cup Championship run, the MeiGray logo sat proudly over the right breast of every practice jersey worn by every King at every practice.

And now you can own one of these significant jerseys.  Significant because the Game-Worn Jersey hobby has become so visible in today’s NHL. And significant because the Los Angeles Kings wore each of these practice jerseys DURING THEIR STANLEY CUP FINAL triumph over the New Jersey Devils.

This black Los Angeles Kings practice jersey was worn by #2 Matt Greene in a team practice on June 6, 2012, two days after the Kings' commanding Game 3, 4-0 victory over the New Jersey Devils in the 2012 Stanley Cup Final.  

It is the older style practice jersey with the Reebok Vector logo and the old style 'Crown' crest has been removed and replaced with the current 'Shield' crest.

This practice-worn jersey, is a Size 58+, and is registered into the MeiGray Group Game-Worn Jersey Authentication Program as number I04970.

This jersey may also have been worn by other players at practices during the 2011-2012 season.

The jersey was authenticated by the Kings' equipment staff, which penned the player's number and the date of practice on the fight strap immediately after its use.

The jersey was also authenticated when the LA Kings-MGG individually numbered security tag was sewn into the jersey after it was worn.

The player name and number are not on the back of this jersey.
