Welcome to the Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation 2012 Christmas Charity Online Auction in support of the Christmas Bureau of Edmonton and charities across Oil Country ! Show your support by bidding on this piece of Edmonton Oilers history! Up for grabs in this lot is one ultra rare 1980-81 Edmonton Oilers Official Team Photo featuring Wayne Gretzky, Mark Messier and Kevin Lowe which originally hung in the Edmonton Oilers Administration Offices. This official team photographer photo printed from the original negative is identical in every way to the team photos that hung in the old Oilers Locker Room Media Hallway from the early 1980s up to 2005. Tucked away safely in storage for quite a few years now since being taken down from display in the Oilers office it is now being made available to collectors and fans of the team all in the name of charity. The image and original frame with neatly hand printed names of all players appearing in the photo is in excellent used condition. Professionally framed back in the day the image measures approximately 14" x 20" and is framed out to a finished dimension of 20 x 25 1/2 inches. This amazing picture that commemorates the second season of Oilers NHL hockey will come complete with a letter of authenticity from the Edmonton Oilers Hockey Club and will certainly be a welcome addition to your collection!
