Welcome to USA Hockey-MeiGray Group's 2014 International Ice Hockey Federation World Junior Championship Team USA Jersey Auction.
The 2014 IIHF World Junior Championship was held in Malmo, Sweden from December 26, 2013 through January 5, 2014.
The USA Hockey-MeiGray Group Game-Worn Authentication Program is proud to offer fans and collectors across the globe the opportunity to own a piece of history ... the one set of 1960 Throwback jerseys worn during the tournament.
There was one set of 1960 throwback jerseys manufactured by Nike and prepared for use by the U.S. National Men's Team in the 2014 IIHF World Junior Championship. Each jersey was bar-coded before the tournament. The set of jerseys was collected after each game by Team USA's equipment staff. Each jersey offered in auction has been security-tagged with an individually serial-numbered USA Hockey-MeiGray Authentication Program inventory tag.
The U.S. World Junior Championship Men's Team wore this set of 1960 Throwback jerseys in one game:
*December 31, 2013, 3-2 loss vs. Canada
This auction is for the actual 1960 Throwback jersey worn by #15, Jack Eichel.
Eichel finished the tournament with one goal and four assists. He will be eligible for the NHL entry draft in 2015.
This jersey, a Size 56, has been registered in the USA Hockey-MeiGray Game-Worn Authentication Program as number USA06340.
Proceeds will benefit the USA Hockey Foundation.
