The Philadelphia Flyers honored the Philadelphia Fire Department by wearing a commemorative jersey with the Philadelphia Fire Department crest during the warmup prior to the Flyers' 3-1 victory over the Colorado Avalanche at Wells Fargo Center on Thursday, February 6, 2014.
The Flyers on this night honored Philadelphia Firefighter of the year Brandon Mlodzinski as the "Virtual Community Teammate" for his service and acts of heroism.
