Welcome to the MeiGray Group Game-Worn Jersey Authentication Program's Goal Puck Auction!
The NHL Goal Pucks Program, the first authenticated game-used program known in professional sports, ran during the 1972-73 and 1973-74 NHL seasons.
Pucks were removed from the nets and lifted from the games by the on-ice officials after goals were scored. The goal scorers were identified, stickers with the relevant information was applied to one side of each puck, and the pucks were offered publicly to hockey fans and collectors via advertisements in printed publications.
The MeiGray Group Game-Worn Jersey Authentication Program is proud to offer fans and collectors across the globe the opportunity to own a piece of history ...a puck used to score a goal by Dave Gardner of the St. Louis Blues during the 1973-1974 National Hockey League season.
This was his 3rd goal of the season and 4th goal of his career.
The goal was scored in the Minnesota North Stars' 8-1 victory over the St. Louis Blues on March 10, 1974. It was assisted by Don Awrey and Gary Sabourin.
This puck is registered into the MGG Game-Worn Jersey Authentication Program as number 149887.

When indicated on a listing page, if a bid is placed during the last 5 minutes of an auction, the auction will automatically extend for an additional 5 minutes from the time of the latest bid. The auction will close once all bidding activity has stopped for a period of 5 minutes.
