All money raised from the sale of these jerseys will benefit the Canucks for Kids Fund and directly support families in Vancouver and Burnaby who attend the Canucks Family Education Centre (CFEC). Founded in 2002, CFEC is a leading family literacy centre in Canada with its "barrier-free" model to family education. This means it offers more than 500 individuals a year who face serious social-economic challenges access to free, quality literacy and life-skills classes and its two locations while providing complimentary hot meals every day, free transit passes to make it easy to get to and from the centre and complimentary pre-school and child-minding programs so parents can attend courses worry-free. CFEC's philosophy is to ensure they encompass the entire family in the learning process and that parents are specifically well-equipped with the educational and life skills necessary to nurture and inspire a love for reading and education in their own children as well. Please help us raise important funds that will allow us to expand programming to meet the growing demand of services at CFEC.
