This Carolina Hurricanes AUTOGRAPHED, GAME USED Eric Staal #12 hockey skate comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. Eric Staal was drafted second overall by the Carolina Hurricanes in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft. He led the Hurricanes in points during the 2006 Stanley Cup Playoffs with 28 points and has made four All-Star appearances since 2007. He was a member of the gold medal Canadian team in the 2007 IIHF World Championship. Staal was named team captain on January 20, 2010, becoming the fifth Hurricanes captain since the team relocated to Raleigh. Near the end of the 2015-16 season, Staal was traded to the New York Rangers. During the subsequent offseason, he signed a three-year contract with the Minnesota Wild as a free agent. All proceeds will benefit the Kids 'N Community Foundation, the Carolina Hurricanes charitable arm.
