This Carolina Hurricanes AUTOGRAPHED, GAME WORN Nathan Gerbe #14 (2014-15, 1st set) jersey comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. It is red, size 54. Nathan Gerbe was drafted by the Buffalo Sabres in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft. On May 6, 2008, Gerbe signed his first professional contract, a three-year contract with Buffalo. He scored his first career goal in December 2009 against the Washington Capitals and scored his first playoff goal in April 2010 against the Boston Bruins. In June 2011, he re-signed with the Buffalo Sabres to a three-year deal. In July 2013, he was put on waivers by Buffalo with the intention of buying out the remainder of his contract. As a free agent, Gerbe agreed to a one-year, two-way contract with the Hurricanes. In June 2014, he re-signed to the Hurricanes on a two-year, one-way contract. In July 2016, Gerbe signed with the Rangers as a free agent. All proceeds will benefit the Kids 'N Community Foundation, the Carolina Hurricanes charitable arm.
