This Carolina Hurricanes AUTOGRAPHED, GAME WORN Tim Gleason #6 (2013-14, alternate) jersey comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. It is black, size 58. Tim Gleason was drafted 23rd overall in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft by the Ottawa Senators. He was subsequently traded to the Los Angeles Kings in exchange for Bryan Smolinski. Gleason spent three seasons with the Kings, then was traded to the Carolina Hurricanes along with Eric Belanger in exchange for Oleg Tverdovsky and Jack Johnson. He played with the Hurricanes for eight seasons. In 2014, he was acquired by the Toronto Maple Leafs in exchange for John-Michael Liles. After the 2013-14 season, he was placed on waivers by Toronto. As a free agent, he returned to the Hurricanes signing a one-year contract. During the 2014-15 season, he was traded to the Washington Capitals. Gleason represented Canada at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver and helped capture the silver medal. All proceeds will benefit the Kids 'N Community Foundation, the Carolina Hurricanes charitable arm.
