This AUTOGRAPHED 8x10 photo of Bret Hedican #6 and Erik Cole #26 comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. Bret Hedican was drafted by the St. Louis Blues in the 1998 NHL Entry Draft. He played with the 1992 U.S. Olympic team before he made his NHL debut in the 1991-92 season with the Blues. After playing with the Blues for three years, Hedican was traded to the Vancouver Canucks where he joined the team in time for their Stanley Cup run. During the 2000 NHL Entry Draft, he was traded to the Florida Panthers where he spent four seasons. In January 2002, he was traded to the Carolina Hurricanes with Kevyn Adams and Tomas Malec in exchange for Sandis Ozolinsh and Byron Ritchie. Hedican played nearly six seasons with the Hurricanes and won the Stanley Cup with the team in 2006. After the 2007-2008 season, he signed a one-year free agent contract with the Anaheim Ducks. Erik Cole was drafted by the Carolina Hurricanes in the 1998 NHL Entry Draft. In his rookie year, he scored six goals during the 2002 Stanley Cup playoffs. He was one-third of the "BBC Line" which included Bates Battaglia and Rod Brind'Amour. Cole was chosen to represent the United States in the 2006 Winter Olympics and he also represented the United States in the 2007 IIHF World Championships. In March 2006, Cole suffered a fractured vertebra which kept him out of the lineup until Game 6 of the 2006 Stanley Cup Finals. In 2008, he was traded to the Edmonton Oilers in exchange for Joni Pitkanen. In 2009, he was traded back to the Hurricanes and after the 2008-09 season, Cole signed a two-year contract with the Hurricanes. In 2011, he signed a four-year contract with the Montreal Canadiens as a free agent. He spent nearly two seasons with the Canadiens before being traded to the Dallas Stars during the lockout-shortened 2012-13 season. All proceeds benefit the Kids 'N Community Foundation, the Carolina Hurricanes charitable arm.
