This Carolina Hurricanes drink package including a tumbler signed by the 2016-17 team and a bottle koozie signed by Jordan Staal #11 comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. The 2016-17 Carolina Hurricanes finished the season with 87 points. Jordan Staal was drafted second overall in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft by the Pittsburgh Penguins. He was signed to a three-year, entry-level contract by the Penguins in October 2006. He scored his first NHL goal on October 12, 2006 against the New York Rangers. The same season, Staal was named a Calder Trophy finalist and was also named to the NHL All-Rookie Team. He made his international debut in the 2007 World Championships for Team Canada, helping them win gold. In 2009, Staal helped the Pittsburgh Penguins capture the Stanley Cup Championship, notching two goals and an assist in the seven-game series between the Penguins and Red Wings. He was named a finalist for the Selke Trophy alongside Pavel Datsyuk and Ryan Kesler. During the 2012 NHL Entry Draft, Jordan Staal was traded to the Carolina Hurricanes in exchange for Brandon Sutter. On July 1, 2012, he signed a ten-year extension with the Hurricanes. All proceeds benefit the Kids 'N Community Foundation, the Carolina Hurricanes charitable arm.
