Welcome to USA Hockey-MeiGray Group's 2014 International Ice Hockey Federation World Championship Team USA Jersey Auction.
The 2014 IIHF World Championship was held in Minsk, Belarus from May 9, 2014 through May 25, 2014. The United States Men's National Team was defeated in the quarterfinals, 4-3, by the Czech Republic.
The USA Hockey-MeiGray Group Game-Worn Authentication Program is proud to offer fans and collectors across the globe the opportunity to own a piece of history ... the one set of white jerseys worn during the tournament by Team USA. This set of jerseys was worn by Team USA in three different games throughout the tournament.
This auction is for the actual white jersey worn by #65, Danny DeKeyser.
The U.S. Men's National Team wore this set of white jerseys in three games:
*May 9, 2014, 6-1 win vs. Belarus
*May 15, 2014, 6-5 loss vs. Latvia
*May 20, 2014, 5-4 win vs. Germany
DeKeyser played in all three games wearing this white jersey.
Michigan native Danny DeKeyser played in 65 games for the Detroit Red Wings during the 2013-14 NHL regular season. He scored 4 goals and recorded 19 assists.
This jersey, a Size 60, has been registered in the USA Hockey-MeiGray Game-Worn Authentication Program as number USA06451.
One set of 25 white jerseys was manufactured by Nike and prepared for use by the U.S. National Men's Team in the 2014 IIHF World Championship. Each jersey was barcoded before the tournament. The set of jerseys was collected after each game by Team USA's equipment staff. Each jersey offered in auction has been security-tagged with an individually serial-numbered USA Hockey-MeiGray Authentication Program inventory tag.
Proceeds will benefit the USA Hockey Foundation.
