Here's an exciting and unique opportunity. The Dallas Stars-MeiGray Group Game-Worn Authentication Program is offering the winning bidder the chance to Meet and Greet one of their favorite Stars at one of three home games in February.
Immediately after the Tuesday, Feb. 3 game vs. Colorado, Thursday, Feb. 19 vs. San Jose, or Friday, Feb. 27 vs. Colorado (winning bidder chooses the game), the winning bidder and a guest will be invited to visit in the Stars' private player area with either Jamie Benn, Jordie Benn, Trevor Daley, Cody Eakin, Vernon Fiddler, Ryan Garbutt, John Klingberg, Kari Lehtonen, Antoine Roussel or Jason Spezza. (Winning bidder chooses the player).
Once the player presents you with the jersey he wore and the stick he used from that game, enjoy spending a few minutes talking about the game, asking questions, taking a few pictures, and getting your game-used items signed.
That's a one-of-a-kind experience!!
Here's what your Meet and Greet Package will contain:
* Two tickets for you and a guest to see the Stars play host to Colorado Avalanche on Tuesday, Feb. 3, the San Jose Sharks on Thursday, Feb. 19, or the Avs on Friday, Feb. 27 at American Airlines Center. (Winning bidder chooses one game).
*The opportunity to meet one of these 10 Stars: Jamie Benn, Jordie Benn, Trevor Daley, Cody Eakin, Vernon Fiddler, Ryan Garbutt, John Klingberg, Kari Lehtonen, Antoine Roussel or Jason Spezza. (Winning bidder chooses one player).
*The game-worn jersey worn in the game by that player, authenticated by MeiGray.
*A stick used in the game by that player, authenticated by MeiGray.
*A Game-Used Puck from the game, authenticated by MeiGray.
The auction ends on Thursday, January 29. The winning bidder will be contacted by MeiGray on Friday, January 30, at which time the winning bidder will choose which of the 10 players he would like to meet, and on which of the three available dates he would like to attend. In the event that player does not play or is not with the club on the date selected, an alternate date or player will be scheduled.
Transportation is not included. Winning bidder and guest are responsible for getting to and from American Airlines Center.
In an Open Auction, buyers bid until the auction ends. The item is then sold to the highest bidder at the end of the auction period. There is no reserve price in an Open auction. The seller must sell the item to the highest bidder. Bidding can start as low as the Opening Value (minimum price or starting amount) of the auction. Once the auction closes, email notification providing contact information is sent to the buyer and seller automatically so that arrangements for payment and shipment of the item can be determined.
