On January 17, 2015, the Los Angeles Kings honored an important member of their history when they raised Hall of Famer Rob Blake's No. 4 to the STAPLES Center rafters.

On Rob Blake Retirement Night, the great defenseman's No. 4 joined Luc Robitaille's No. 20, Wayne Gretzky's No. 99, Dave Taylor's No. 18, Marcel Dionne's No. 16 and Rogie Vachon's No. 30 as the only retired numbers in Kings history.
