Description
Welcome to the Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation 2015 Hockey Talks Mental Health Awareness Online Charity Auction. Show your support by bidding on this Ben Scrivens #30 - Autographed Mental Health Awareness Artwork Themed Edmonton Oilers 2014-15 Game Worn Goalie Mask ! This Bauer made pro goalie helmet with custom paint job by Eye Candy has been generously donated by Ben Scrivens to our charity auction with proceeds designated to the Canadian Mental Health Association and the Schizophrenia Society Of Alberta. The Oilers goaltender is working with four different mental health groups this year to design four different masks that he will wear throughout the 2014-15 NHL season. This is the first mask worn by Scrivens in support mental health awareness and the artwork was designed by Richard Boulet, an artist living with schizophrenia. The mask is in excellent condition and shows normal signs of game use throughout with minor paint scuffs and scratches here and there. It has been nicely signed Ben on the back headplate in blue permanent marker and will come complete with a letter of authenticity from the Edmonton Oilers Hockey Club and Edmonton Oilers Authentic Inventory Hologram #10429 applied to the mask. Simply a must for goalie fans and mask collectors! Please note that this helmet is sold for collectible and display purposes only and is not intended to be used as protective head gear.
