Description
On November 8, 2013, three days before Chris Chelios, Geraldine Heaney, Scott Niedermayer and Brendan Shanahan were inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame, the Toronto Maple Leafs played host to the New Jersey Devils in the 13th Annual Hockey Hall of Fame Game at Air Canada Centre in Toronto. The Maple Leafs defeated the Devils, 2-1, in a shootout.
One game-worn 2013 HHOF Game jersey, the jersey worn by future Hall of Famer Jaromir Jagr, was donated by the Devils to the Hockey Hall of Fame. Each of the other 24 HHOF Game jerseys, 19 that were game worn, 1 that was worn in the warmup only, and 4 that were game-issued for players who did not dress for the HHOF Game, is now up for bid.
The New Jersey Devils-MeiGray Group Game-Worn Jersey Authentication Program is proud to offer fans and collectors across the globe the opportunity to own a piece of history... the actual jersey worn in the 13th Annual Hockey Hall of Fame Game by #18 Steve Bernier of the New Jersey Devils.
This white jersey is a Size 56 and is registered into the NJ Devils-MGG Game-Worn Jersey Authentication Program as number K09365. Each jersey has the official Hockey Hall of Fame Game patch sewn onto the front of the jersey. The Devils wore this white set of jerseys for this game only.
Each jersey was authenticated by a New Jersey Devils-MGG Game-Worn Jersey Authentication Program director after the game ended. Each jersey had been security-tagged, serial-numbered, and registered into the New Jersey Devils-MGG Program before the game.
