This Hockey Fights Cancer AUTHENTIC Brett Pesce #54 Carolina Hurricanes jersey was worn in pre-game warm-ups prior to the game against the Ottawa Senators on November 7, 2015. The jersey is autographed and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. It is lavender, size 58. Pesce was drafted 66th overall by the Carolina Hurricanes in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft. Pesce spent 3 seasons with the University of New Hampshire Wildcats and played in 109 games. On March 27, 2015 Pesce signed a three-year entry level contract with the Carolina Hurricanes forgoing his final year of eligibility. Pesce was assigned to the Checkers at the beginning of the 2015-2016 season but was recalled on October 14, 2015. He was a healthy scratch that game and sent back but was recalled again on October 24, 2015 where he played in a 5-2 loss to the San Jose Sharks. Pesce recorded his first NHL point on October 30, 2015 with an assist in the 3-2 win against the Colorado Avalanche. Pesce scored his first NHL goal on November 22, 2015 against the LA Kings in a 4-3 win. All proceeds benefit the Kids ?N Community Foundation.
