This Military Appreciation Night AUTHENTIC Joakim Nordstrom #42 Carolina Hurricanes jersey was worn in pre-game warm-ups prior to the game against the St. Louis Blues on February 28, 2016. The jersey is autographed and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. It is camouflage, size 56. Nordstrom was drafted 90th overall in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft by the Chicago Blackhawks. He has represented Sweden in two major international competitions including the 2012 World Junior Championship where Sweden won the gold medal. Nordstrom posted five points in six games and served as an alternate captain. He was part of the 2015 Chicago Blackhawks Stanley Cup championship team where he played in three playoff games. Prior to the 2015-16 season, he was acquired by Carolina along with Kris Versteeg and a third-round pick in the 2017 Draft. During the 2015-16 season, he appeared in 71 games for the Hurricanes and finished with 10 goals and 14 assists. On April 22, 2016, the Carolina Hurricanes signed Nordstrom to a two-year contract. All proceeds benefit the Kids ?N Community Foundation.
