Description
Welcome to MeiGray's Auction of Historical Publications from our Research Library Archives.
This is the game program sold at Madison Square Garden on October 9, 1974, for the first National Hockey League regular-season game ever played by the Washington Capitals.
The expansion Caps, wearing their road red jerseys and soon-to-be-defunct white pants, were defeated by the New York Rangers, 6-3.
This program includes Goal Magazine, the NHL magazine inserted into NHL team programs. It also includes that night's dated lineup page.
This is the first edition of the Tenth Anniversaryt season of Rangers Hockey Magazine. The magazine is listed as Volume 10, Number 1.
MeiGray will be offering historical publications in cases when we find a duplicate copy of a publication in our Research Library.
