This Hockey Fights Cancer AUTHENTIC Anton Khudobin #31 Carolina Hurricanes Jersey was worn in pre-game warm-ups prior to the game against the Columbus Blue Jackets on November 4, 2014. The jersey is autographed and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. It is a purple, size 58. Khudobin was drafted by the Minnesota Wild 206th overall in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft. Khudobin was traded to the Boston Bruins on February 28, 2011 in exchange for Jeff Penner and Mikko Lehtonen and was then assigned to the AHL's Providence Bruins. He finished the season strong and was called up as an emergency goalie for Boston during the playoffs. Khudobin was included on the team picture, and awarded a Stanley Cup ring. On July 1, 2011, Khudobin signed a two-year contract extension with the Bruins and served as the backup goaltender to Tuukka Rask during the lockout shortened season. On July 5, 2013, the Carolina Hurricanes signed him to a one-year contract. The Hurricanes signed him to a two-year contract extension on March 4, 2014. All proceeds will benefit the Kids 'N Community Foundation.
