This Hockey Fights Cancer AUTHENTIC Patrick Dwyer #39 Carolina Hurricanes Jersey was worn in pre-game warm-ups prior to the game against the Columbus Blue Jackets on November 4, 2014. The jersey is autographed and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. It is a purple, size 56. Dwyer was originally selected by the Atlanta Thrashers in the fourth round of the 2002 NHL Entry Draft, but signed with the Carolina Hurricanes as a free agent in 2006. In 2008-2009, he completed his fourth full professional season, making his NHL debut with Carolina and completed his first NHL playoff season with Carolina, skating in two games. The next year, Dwyer established then-career highs in 58 games played, 7 goals, 5 assists and 12 points. He surpassed his career-highs in 2010-2011 and ranked fifth among Carolina skaters in hits (166) and was second among Carolina forwards in blocked shots (63). Dwyer represented the United States at the 2012 IIHF World Championship, notching three points in 8 games. He is currently in his seventh NHL season with the Carolina Hurricanes. All proceeds will benefit the Kids 'N Community Foundation.
