This Hockey Fights Cancer AUTOGRAPHED, AUTHENTIC Jay McClement #18 Carolina Hurricanes Jersey was worn in pre-game warm-ups prior to the game against the Ottawa Senators on November 7, 2015. The jersey comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. Jay McClement was drafted by the St. Louis Blues in the second round of the 2001 NHL Entry Draft. He completed his rookie NHL season in 2005-2006 with the Blues. In 2007, McClement helped Team Canada capture gold in the 2007 IIHF World Championship. He recorded his first career NHL hat trick on October 30, 2010 against the Atlanta Thrashers. In February 2011, he was traded to the Colorado Avalanche and spent one season with the team. Prior to the 2012 season, he signed a two-year contract with the Toronto Maple Leafs as a free agent. McClement left Toronto at the conclusion of his contract to sign a one-year deal with the Hurricanes. On March 1, 2015, he signed a two-year contract extension with the Hurricanes. All proceeds will benefit the Kids ?N Community Foundation.
