Description

This Hockey Fights Cancer AUTOGRAPHED, AUTHENTIC Kris Versteeg #32 Carolina Hurricanes Jersey was worn in pre-game warm-ups prior to the game against the Ottawa Senators on November 7, 2015. The jersey comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. It is a purple, size 56. Versteeg was drafted 134th overall by the Boston Bruins in the 2004 NHL entry draft. On February 3, 2007 Versteeg was traded with a conditional draft pick to the Chicago Blackhawks for Brandon Bochenski. At the end of the 2008-2009 season Versteeg was nominated for the Calder Memorial Trophy losing to Steve Mason. After winning the Stanley Cup with the Blackhawks in 2009-2010, Versteeg was traded June 30, 2010 to the Toronto Maple Leafs. Over the next 4 seasons Versteeg would spend time with the Leafs, Flyers, and Panthers before being traded back to the Blackhawks November 14, 2013. After winning his second Stanley Cup with the Blackhawks, Versteeg was traded to the Carolina Hurricanes with Joakim Nordstrom for a 3rd round pick in 2017, a 5th round pick in 2017, and two prospects. Versteeg currently has 10 points and 2 goals on the season. All proceeds will benefit the Kids ?N Community Foundation.
