The U.S. World Junior Championship team captured the Bronze Medal after an 8-3 victory over Sweden in the bronze-medal game of the 2016 IIHF World Junior Championship at Hartwall Arena in Helsinki, Finland. The United States won its ninth medal in the history of the tournament, and fifth bronze.

The 2016 IIHF World Junior Championship was held in Helsinki, Finland from December 26, 2015 through January 5, 2016. The U.S. World Junior Championship Men's Team played its games at the Helsinki Ice Hall, and at the Hartwell Arena in Helsinki.

The USA Hockey-MeiGray Group Game-Worn Authentication Program is proud to offer fans and collectors across the globe the opportunity to own a piece of history... the one set of retro and the one set of white jerseys worn during the tournament.

There was one set of retro, one set of white, and one set of blue jerseys manufactured by Nike and prepared for use by the U.S. National Men's Team in the 2016 IIHF World Junior Championship. Each jersey was bar-coded before the tournament. The sets of jerseys were collected after each game by Team USA's equipment staff. Each jersey offered in auction has been security-tagged with an individually serial-numbered USA Hockey-MeiGray Authentication Program inventory tag.

The U.S. World Junior Championship Men's Team wore the one set of retro jerseys in three games, the one set of white jerseys in one game and the one set of blue jerseys in three games. The players retained the one set of blue jerseys. The one set of Retro jerseys was also worn in a 4-0 pre-tournament game victory over UMass. The one set of blue jerseys was also worn in a 3-2 pre-tournament game victory over Finland.

The U.S. World Junior Championship Bronze Medal Winning Team wore the retro jerseys in the following IIHF World Junior Championship games:
*December 26, 2015, a 4-2 victory over Canada

*January 2, 2016, a 7-0 victory over Czech Republic

*January 4, 2016, a 2-1 loss to Russia

This auction is for the actual retro jersey worn by #11 Christian Dvorak.

Dvorak played in all 7 games. He scored 3 goals and 5 assists. Dvorak currently plays for the London Knights. He was drafted by the Phoenix Coyotes in the 2nd round of the 2014 NHL Entry Draft.

This jersey, a Size 56, has been registered in the USA Hockey-MeiGray Game-Worn Authentication Program as number USA03439.
