Rudy Ruettiger personally hand-signed and inscribed this incredible Notre Dame Authentic Full Size Helmet. An undersized kid with over-sized dreams, Rudy repeatedly was told he was too small to play football. While at Notre Dame, Ruettiger was part of the scout team and on the last play of the final game of his senior year, Rudy finally was put in. Ruettiger made the most of it recording a tackle and prompting his teammates to carry him off amidst cheers from the Fighting Irish faithful. The inscription reads, 'You're five foot nothin', a hundred and nothin' and hardly have a spec of athletic ability and you hung in with the best college football team in the land, you got nothing to prove to no one except yourself'.
