Colorado Avalanche

Kroenke Sports Charities is pleased to present this auction of Colorado Avalanche jerseys worn during the first NHL outdoor game played on ice a mile high. On Saturday, February 27, 2016, in front of an energetic crowd of 50,095 at Coors Field in Denver, the Detroit Red Wings faced the Colorado Avalanche in the 2016 Coors Light NHL Stadium Series. This set of jerseys was worn or issued for use during the second period of the game. Each jersey is registered into the MeiGray Game-Worn Jersey Authentication Program. Affixed to the right shoulder of each jersey is the 2016 NHL Stadium Series Colorado patch.

Also included in this auction are jerseys worn by Rob Blake and Peter Forsberg during the Stadium Series Alumni Game on February 26, 2016. They were listed for auction immediately following the game, but were not claimed by the winning bidders. The Forsberg and Blake jerseys are authenticated by the Colorado Avalanche.
