Winnipeg Jets

The Jets will host Hockey Fights Cancer night at MTS Centre when they take on the Philadelphia Flyers on Saturday, November 7th, 2015. That night, all Winnipeg Jets players will show their support by wearing special Hockey Fights Cancer jerseys during pre-game warm up, using Lavender tape on their sticks and wearing special custom equipment like Skates and Goalie Masks.

In addition, through a special collaboration with CancerCare Manitoba,  a group of Winnipeg Jet Wives/Girlfriends and children battling Cancer created unique Hockey Fights Cancer personalized pottery items made at Brush Fire Studio in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.

All proceeds raised from this auction will be directed to CancerCare Manitoba’s pediatric clinical trials. Currently the Foundation funds over 50 percent of the cost of clinical trials for children and teens with cancer here in Manitoba. All funds raised by CancerCare Manitoba Foundation stays in our province to benefit Manitobans with cancer and their families.

Hockey Fights Cancer™ is an initiative founded in December 1998 by the National Hockey League and the National Hockey League Players' Association to raise money and awareness for hockey's most important fight.
